I’m excited about the 2016 Rio Olympics.  I don’t care about other sporting events, but Mary Lou Retton stole my heart in 1984. She was like me – so petite and short!  I watched Mary Lou with fascination as she took the gold! That was back in the day when we had to wait four years till the next Olympic games!
I’m pulling out all the stops this year. Â I even dressed up for the first day of the games! Â Of course, this outfit will work flawlessly for Veteran’s day, Memorial Day, and the 4th of July. Â It’s the ideal American patriotic holiday attire.
Distressed Leggings
Yeah – nothing says “She’s an All-American country girl” like bare feet in the woods, right?  That, and a good fitting pair of jeans.  Of course, you don’t have to be a country girl to wear jeans.  But, here’s the gotcha! These pants aren’t jeans.  They are distressed leggings.  I think they are cute.  They look like skinny jeans without the weight of denim.  They also stretch so if you find that little calories are sneaking into your closet and cinching the waist on your pants, or you are losing weight, these Crush Distressed Leggings will fit you through a couple of size transitions.
Vintage Printed American Flag Shirt – Olympic Perfection
I also love this V-Neck Vintage American Flag shirt. This super-cute well-made shirt fits me perfectly. It’s not a t-shirt type material, but more of a silky, stretchy material. It moves with you well. The faded flag colors and patterns look great with the distressed leggings. I’ve gotten several compliments when I wear it – even from my husband. Celebrating the Olympics in style will be great. Â Additionally, the American flag print is perfect patriotic American holidays!
So, how are you supporting your favorite country in the Olympics? Â So, are you wearing Olympic or patriotic clothing? Â Are you throwing a viewing party?
