Is the new DisneyNature film, Born In China, on your radar, yet? It’s on mine. I’m excited because David and I plan on seeing it this weekend. I’m usually a sci-fi, adventure, suspense kind of girl, but I’m a huge animal lover. If there is an animal documentary on, I am likely to watch it. And I was like that as a kid. Saturday morning TV was not over until my music shows and animal science show aired. Then, I went outside.
Born in China follows three animal families from the famed Chinese bamboo forests to the highest mountain peaks. I cannot wait to learn more about the snow leopards, pandas, and golden monkies. I cannot decide which one is cuter. And, as it turns out, that’s actually kind of important! Why?
Because of the SunRype Disneynature Born in China Giveaway!

Why is Disney collaborating with SunRype?
This collaboration between Disney and SunRype (one of my favorite snack companies) makes sense to me. In 2006, Disney became the first major media company to establish a Nutrition Guideline Policy. Since that year, Disney has reached new milestones in their Healthy Living Commitment. For example, they are the first major media company to implement food advertising standards for children. Since Disney’s major market is children, this is huge!
SunRype is also a food company I can get behind. I love their fruit & chia bars, and their fruit to go snacks. Like Disney, SunRype has renewed it’s commitment to health and wellness. In the last year, they have revamped their entire line to be gluten-free, peanut-free, kosher and vegan!
Disclaimer: I received free SunRype samples and movie tickets in exchange for helping promote the giveaway. However, all views expressed are my own.
We enjoy hosting parties and my husband and I are both avid gamers. You can find me on PS4 as SunshineFlaGirl. We also play tabletop RPGs and eurogames.
