Summer Skirt Must-haves

So summer arrived officially, and it’s time to swap the pants for something a little cooler. Generally, I don’t wear skirts that often. However, since I’ve lost 55 pounds, I’m feeling more confident and thinking I want to try a shorter summer skirt this year!

I’ve been browsing NYFifth Apparel‘s site and am loving the brand names I’m seeing. They carry American Apparel, Adidas, Eddie Bower, and tons more! Oh – and pages of the cutest skirts!

Since I prefer online shopping, I’ve been hitting up google for summer clothes like crazy. They even take Paypal – one of my favorite ways to pay online!

So what do y’all think? Is any of these me?

The Perfect Summer Skirt

Yes. I am a sucker for cats. I have five, but no clothing featuring my favorite critters! I just fell in love with this adorable vintage pleated black cat mini-skirt skirt! It’s cute and flirty. I like my clothing to be a unique reflection of my personality. I’m putting this on my must-have wish list!

The next skirt on my summer wishlist? I practically live in denim and, while I’m not the girly-girl, I am very drawn to this unique skirt with the eye-catching bow. I’d like to pair this with a bright colored T-shirt and low-key jewelry.

Ok. I just said I wasn’t a girly-girl, but I really want this delicate, feminine, lacy skirt. I can picture this with a pair of white gladiator sandals for daytime wear, or dress it up with gold heels and jewelry for an evening out.

The gorgeous organza lace detailing just begs to for a loose, messy up-do, evoking a much more romantic time.
